The ultimate party under the stars at Grand Champions Polo Club, cancelled last year because of bad weather, benefits the Kids Cancer Foundation and Polo Training Foundation.
SebiLion and Black Watch will sponsor the teams that will play the four-chukker Sunset Polo Match at 6 p.m. Doors open 5:30 p.m.
SebiLion is a 20-goal team with Ganzi, 3, Matias "Colo" Gonzalez, 4, Roldan, 7, and Kris Kampsen, 6.
Black Watch is a 22-goal team with Jason Crowder, 5, Hilario Figueras, 5, Tommy Collingwood, 5, Fred Mannix.
Ganzi and Roldan are creating an event unlike any other in the U.S. by combining great polo, DJ music, dancing, two secret performers and Argentine asado to raise money for the Kids Cancer Foundation and Polo Training Foundation.
Following the polo game, award presentation and speeches, two surprise entertainers will perform.
"Everyone loves a party, so why not combine a good time with fundraising and bringing awareness to others about causes that need our support," Roldan said.
Ganzi is hosting the large scale event benefitting Sunset Polo International, a non-profit founded by Roldan, Ganzi and Natascha Baecher, at the nation's largest polo club and facility.
"I've always wanted to do something to be able to give back," Ganzi said. "We have a really great team and really good people who are donating their time. It's not hard to do good things, it just takes time and a lot of people who want to donate their time or give back with a donation."
General admission tickets are still available. More information can be found found at www.sunsetpolo.com or eventbrite.
"We want people to come out and have a good time, but also know the money is going to people who need it and deserve it," Ganzi said. "The fact it's going to charity is a really powerful message."
Sunset Polo International is a non-profit 501C3 foundation, organized and operated as a charitable, grant-making organization to support projects focused on the welfare of children as well as educating them about polo and working to make the sport more accessible.
The organization creates awareness, funding programs and leaves a legacy in making a difference. The primary focus is supporting programs and organizations that provide support to kids and families in need. For information go to events@sunsetpolo.com and www.sunsetpolo.com
